Empower Billing / Subscription Preferences

We understand that new software can be almost as intimidating as a new bill. We want to make sure you are supported in both.  Let’s talk about what you’re being billed for and what to expect.


Empower is designed on a monthly or yearly subscription model.  


There are many reasons for this structure, but at the top of them, it assures that you always have the most current software available.  Anytime, anywhere you access it, it’s up-to-date and ready for use.  You never have to worry about installing it, updating, or upgrading.  Your monthly/yearly fees cover that.


If you’re unsure about Empower fitting your needs, we offer a 60-Day free trial.  Maybe you’ve already signed into your trial version? If not, here’s a link.  Once you’ve established the account, click here to get started setting up your ministry.

At the end of 60 days, your account will expire. There was no credit card needed for setting up your trial, but you will be asked for a card to continue running Empower.

Choosing Your Billing Preference


When signing up for Empower, you will choose to be billed Monthly or Yearly.  Each option offers incredible value, but the annual plan is our best value.  Both options offer the same features, but you save money with the annual subscription.

 

What’s Included in My Subscription?


Everything.  Every feature we offer is included in your Account Subscription.  If you are switching from the free-trial, you will instantly notice new features such as the ability to send mass emails, sign up for text messaging, additional check-in options, and more.   

Are There Any Additional Fees?


It is important to notice that the text messaging and email tools do have monthly allotments.  After these are reached, you are responsible for paying per text message sent.  You will be billed monthly by Empower ChMS for any overages (still very affordable).  


Although Empower features are included in the subscription, there are a few third-party options that integrate with Empower that are not included in our pricing.  For example, Empower directly integrates with Vanco Payments and Protect My Ministry.  A third-party account is required for these integrations.  

Seeing, Changing, and Tracking My Billing


Curious about your Billing? In the top right-hand corner of your Empower Dashboard, hover and click the Admin button.  In the drop-down menu, click the Billing button.  


On the Billing page, you will see the Subscription and Transactions tabs.  


Subscription will show your current subscription status and payment schedule.  You may also edit your billing frequency and payment details.


The Transactions tab will show you a list of all billing transactions regarding your subscription to Empower ChMS including any overage charges.  

Checking Messaging Resource Usage


Resource Usage can also be found under the Billing tab.  If you are ever concerned about the number of text messages or emails that you have sent for the month, that data can be found in this tab.  


*At the present time, Empower only offers one level of Messaging.  Please contact us if you are interested in increasing your monthly messaging allotment.
